Set up a cable station with a handle attachment at the bottom of the pulley. Stand with your left side facing the cable and the grip the handle firmly with your right hand. Stand with your feet hip width apart with a straight back and your core braced. Ensure you are far enough away from the cable to keep tension on it throughout the movement. Keeping your arm straight (but not locking out your elbow) proceed to pull the cable directly out to your side, until your hand and arm is parallel to your shoulder, exhaling as you do so. Pause for a count of one and return to the start position, inhaling as you do so. Repeat all the required reps on one arm before changing to the other.
