Set up a cable station just below shoulder height. Stand with your left side facing the cable and the grip the end of the cable firmly with an overhand grip with your right hand. Stand with your feet hip width apart with a straight back and your core braced. Extend the arm holding the cable directly out in front of you, level with your shoulders. Ensure you are far enough away from the cable to keep tension on it throughout the movement. Keeping your arm straight (but not locking out your elbow) proceed to pull the cable away from you, until your hand and arm is parallel to your shoulder, exhaling as you do so. Pause for a count of one and return to the start position, inhaling as you do so. Repeat all the required reps on one arm before changing to the other.
